 Greenville Hospital System's Oconology Research Institute
Greenville Hospital System’s Oncology Research Institute (ORI) is uniquely focused and somewhat different than most other cancer research centers.
It is a singularly translational research organization where oncologists, surgeons, immunologists and molecular biologists work in a completely integrated and interactive environment. Here, basic research and state-of-the-art clinical trials occur at the same location and under the direction of the same integrated staff.
At the ORI, efforts focus on enhancing or repairing the body’s own natural barriers to cancer progression, delivering new therapies without the severe side effects and limited efficacy of past treatments.
